yay we can ship worldwide.
your shipping charges will automatically calculate on checkout.
customs & duty charges (only applies to international orders)
custom and duty charges are country specific and are a legal obligation. we cannot predict whether or not your package will get caught by your local customs office, as it is at their discretion.
it can depend on how much the declared value of your package is and the dollar value threshold your local customs office has set. you should be contacted if the customs office has held your item. all you can do now is cross your fingers and hope that it doesn’t get held! unfortunately there is nothing we can do from our end. good luck!
also, if it is held and you do happen to get charged custom and duty charges and you decide to not pay for them, that’s a real shame and we are sorry about that! however as we said it is out of our control so when we receive the items back , we will charged a restocking fee of $9 nzd and you will not be refunded. by ordering a product from indigo & iris you agree that payment of custom charges, duty charges and the restocking fee are your responsibility. thanks boo for understanding xoxo
estimated shipping delivery times
we will do everything in our power to get your order to you as soon as possible.
new zealand orders:
orders from city slickers take an estimated 1-4 business days for delivery. if you live in the wopwops please allow an extra 2-3 days (rural deliveries).
rest of world:
we are working on faster & cheaper delivery options! at this stage all of the product is being shipped from our beautiful home country of new zealand, please be patient, it will be worth it!
aussie orders:
orders can take an estimated 7-20 business days for delivery maybe longer if you live in the australian desert, so allow an extra 2-3 days for rural deliveries.
anywhere else on the globe:
for our international customers, we will try to get your order to you within 20 business days for delivery. if it takes longer than 13 days please let us know at hello@indigoandiris.co.
business days are monday to friday and exclude holidays and public holidays
all the times are estimated and begin from dispatch. you will get a email when your order is on its way.
tracked shipping:
within new zealand:
we use courier post signature required bags. your tracking number will be emailed to you. if the number is not yet working, wait one business day as the courier company can sometimes take time to scan the bag.
australia:
we use tracked e-parcel service to deliver orders to australia. your tracking number will be emailed to you. if the number is not yet working, wait one business day as the courier company can sometimes take time to scan the bag.
rest of globe:
we do offer tracking to most international destinations. your tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. if you tracking number begins with uw it means that the package is untracked.
unfortunately, we cannot offer tracking all shipment destinations internationally. our postie only allows us to track certain countries with the one we currently use.
shipping time disclaimer
please be aware of new zealand public holiday closures that will affect our work and dispatch hours. there may be delayed deliveries around busy shopping periods such as christmas and easter. of course we will always do what we can to get your your order as soon as possible - thank you for your patience.
why am i being charged in new zealand dollars?
we live in new zealand mate, so our bank account is with a new zealand bank and can only receive nzd. we didn’t want you to have to do math when browsing our site so we have made it so your local currency shows automatically, although when you get to the checkout part you will be charged in nzd. your card company should convert this, and you will see the final charge in your local currency on your statement. sweet?
returns/faults/damaged products
super sorry about that! please contact the indigo & iris team at hello@indigoandiris.co or through the contact form. please provide the order number, an explanation of the problem, and photo proof of any damage. our team will then assess the situation and get in contact with you. please don’t send back the product without first talking to us first. all communication needs to be made in english.
returning your order
please make sure you really want this before you buy it because, for hygiene reasons and customer safety, we are unable to offer refunds or returns on any cosmetics for change of mind. although, if the product is faulty upon arrival we will offer a solution.
if your package items are damaged during the delivery process, please contact us so we can get the shipping company to collect all of the products and packaging, as the shipping company will want to see this.
depending on the situation we may offer replacements. please contact us via our contact us page so we can help resolve the issue.
did you get your address wrong….?
it is your responsibility to make sure you put the correct address when you make an order. if you put the wrong address and the parcel cannot be delivered it is generally returned to indigo & iris. if we receive it back, we will contact you to let you know what has happened. if this occurs and all the items in the parcel are in good sellable condition there are two outcomes we can provide:
- we can refund you the order amount less the shipping cost you initially paid less the $9 nzd restocking fee.
- we can resend the item to you but you will be required to pay for shipping again.
- if we do not hear from you within 7 days we will proceed as per option 1 above.
unclaimed parcel
if we receive a parcel back due to it being unclaimed or due to non payment of customs fee's and all the items in the parcel are in good sellable condition there are two outcomes we can provide:
- we can refund you the order amount less the shipping cost you initially paid less the $9 nzd restocking fee.
- we can resend the item to you but you will be required to pay for shipping again.
if we do not hear from you within 7 days we will proceed as per option 1 stated above
customs want more information about the order/overcharged me
damn it! send the customs official your order invoice which is found at the bottom of your indigo & iris order confirmation email. let customs know that they should base their calculated price off the order invoice they recieve.
